Rich training guide
*Disclaimer: This is a guide meant for the rich & the high level since only having chars that are high enough to wear eq at the explained places & being able to buy certain items would make using this guide useful*
*I should not have to say this, but my friend said I had to so....STONE WALL PREVENTS EQ DAMAGE ON ALL EQ WORN ON PET UNLESS ITS A WEP SINCE WEPS STILL BREAK EVEN WITH WALL or when you get countered. Do not use anything expensive unless you plan to wall and/or feel like buying repair pots/replacing the gear*
I got tired of people asking me how to pet train so here is my guide for the rich and high level! (Nothing against you low people, but I pet train like a pro).
*Warning: If doing pet training, MAX TRAIN TWO PETS AT ONCE. Any more and the er will either not wall your pets consistently because it has to wall too many targets or your pets will die a lot and lose lots of amity. So recommended is to train one pet at a time, but if you feel risky/have a friend who has their own fast earth who wants to train with you, then that's your decision. You have been warned.*
Before you start, you will need:
-The Swift Armlet (+125spd) or Any Speed Armlets (tradable) Value: 1PL+? Obtainable from: Golden Glove (13 tokens) + an RP if your armlet hits usable since once it hits wearing, it might be hard to find an RP and to maximize training time, its better to get one when the armlet hits usable or buy before you start
-Nimbus Diamonds (Depends how much you care for these)
-A fast Earth (like Earth Knight) or a slave
-A fire killer (or str fire) to poke
-Water Auto healer/reviver
-ER
-A book 2 (if at South Pole), A book 4 (if at Rome or Sharks) and a Magic Set Box (if at rome or sharks)
-And if your only Earth is really slow like 300spd, a speed mount with saddle
Now lets begin:
For Beginners:
Start at South Pole 20-50 (unless you want to stay longer). Recommended speed: 200+? (Everybody) Recommended level: Character: Reborn 80+ Pet: 20+ (Need to wash first)
How to do this? First set your er:
*Settings on all ers for healing is the same for the most part: just leave it at half if you really want to or don't have it heal. I'm only gonna show the ACTUAL ER SET UP*
*With this er, pet has to drain sp to be walled*
*ER has to be reset to auto wall. How to reset er: change from ally (default) to player/pet. Hit confirm. Change back to ally. Confirm. Reset. Should work now. Do this to every skill you need auto cast)
Once your er is set, its time to get your pet able to chain with you. How do I do this? I hear you ask. If your rich like me and/or don't care, start by equipping your armlet to your pet! (In this example, I'm gonna say Niss). Niss at level 20 I think FW has 50 speed. Armlet adds 125. Boom 175. But that's not quite enough and you can't make her wear a wep because it would break even with a wall. Next, add a Jade Helm (+26spd) with a nimbus dia (if you weren't rich enough to buy these, you might have to look elsewhere. Its very hard to make it work without wasting these). That's another 50 speed. 225. Boom, done. Because if your killer is 324 speed or less, Niss WILL combo. Its <100 speed difference chain secret.
Rules about comboing:
<100 speed difference
Team Average level=HIGH (hence why such a high recommended player level) High=level of enemy+25 levels. The closer your average level is to the enemy, the less you combo.
Oh and if you wanna get your wall up first, need high team speed average.
How do I calculate this? Easy. Add up all the levels of the pets & chars in team (reborn counts as +99) then divide by number of chars/pets. Works the same for speed average.
For Experienced: *Washed and Not Washed*
Start at rome. 20-100 (unless your not feeling risky. Then try 50.) Recommended speed: 300+ (each char/pet) Recommended level: Character: Reborn 107+ (to wear EQ if necessary) Pet: 20-50+
How to do this? ~See above for er~ *See above for how to get required speed to hopefully chain*
What if your pet is level 20? Easy. Get your nimbus diamonds and your terrible all speed noob gear!
Recommended gear: White Dragon Gown [Level 10 I'm pretty sure; Athens]; Grass Boots [Level 6; Welling Village]; iron helmet (or other crappy headgear that adds spd) [Level 5; Compounded from Terrible Drops at Colored Cirrus]. Socket all with nimbus. With armlet, this alone should be enough I'm pretty sure.
*Not recommended training level 20 unless you feel risky and can outspeed every time*
FOR PRO PLAYERS ONLY: *WASHED PETS ONLY*
START AT SHARKS. 50-100. (Even lv 20 can't handle sharks). Recommended speed: 400+ (I think anyway) Recommended level: Any level above 100rb? (but you can't wear gear) Pet: 50+

*Update: You can stop walling pets or add a new pet wall target if your pet has 600+ hp (around level 80 if washed) since at 600+ hp, your pet should not be spawned unless its just one player+one pet since pango AI isn't that smart. Also only stop using walls if pet doesn't have speed eq to chain. Should not have to say this...but whatever. Added it anyway.*
